I'm a 4X founder who left her career as a published academic in human behavioral sciences behind in search of a bigger, bolder life - bigger than anyone in my family or friends circle had ever dreamed of.
Since taking the leap into entrepreneurship 6 years ago, I've had extraordinary success launching my own digital offers, growing an in-person and online community of 19,000 women in business, and becoming an industry expert in personal branding, marketing, and community-building.
But I want to be transparent with you…
It wasn’t always a clear, easy path forward.
I never planned to be an entrepreneur. I only had one dream - to be a teacher and I landed my first job as a college professor at 23 years old. It didn’t take me long to figure out that I was wildly underpaid and undervalued…
but then what?
I started multiple businesses, made a bunch of mistakes, a lot of cringe-y content, and had a lot of pivots along the way.
But despite all the mistakes and messy action… it turned out my academic training taught me to be a highly strategic, Visionary Thinker, which in business is kind of a superpower. I never could have imagined that my pivot away from academia would have led me to wild success in business and building an international community of female founders.
It didn’t happen overnight though.
Since 2021, I started coaching outside of my own business and now I teach other women how to grow their personal brands online. I’ve also personally generated over $1M in revenue online, and created my dream life.
The process included over 1,000 social media posts, and committing to making the content, serving my community, and showing up even when I wasn’t seeing results.
But even with all of this, I STILL have times where I struggle with having self-confidence and believing I have the POWER to change my life, go all in, and achieve my next big dreams. I share this to tell you - GIRLFRIEND, you are not alone.
One of the most beautiful things about entrepreneurship is how much growth you can have very quickly, and how fast your life can change.
If you had asked me on Day 1 where I thought my business would take me, I could not even imagine it would lead me to where I am today - traveling with my husband across the world, spending weeks hiking in the desert with my entrepreneur girlfriends, paying off all of my consumer debt, speaking on stages and having a platform where I get to help other women make more money.
Entrepreneurship is a privilege and learning how to build a successful business created a life bigger than I ever believed.
